The family of LTC Rex Frazer has requested the Patriot Guard Riders escort the family and man a flag line at his memorial service at the Pioneer Chapel at Fort Leavenworth on 30 May 14. LTC Frazer served 2 tours in Vietnam, 1 in Germany, 1 in Korea and numerous areas in CONUS including ROTC and Ft. Leavenworth. He was awarded 3 Bronze Stars, 1 with V device, 2 Purple Hearts, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Armed Forces Honor Medal and Vietnam Commendation Medal.
Staging will be just inside the main gate of Ft. Leavenworth on the far right hand side of the pavement. Enter the main gate of the Fort in the far right hand lane. Diana Pitts will be in a silver Honda CR-V and will lead the escort to Pioneer Chapel, 500 Pope Avenue, Ft. Leavenworth.
This mission will be on the Post, so post rider gear is required. That gear is: DOT helmet, long sleeve shirt, long pants, over-the-ankle boots, and full-fingered gloves.
Staging: 30 May 14, Fort Leavenworth
1030 hrs. (10:30 am) – Stage just inside the Main Gate of Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas on the far right side of the pavement. Look for a silver Honda CR-V.
Do not be late or you will miss the escort and may not get on the post.
