His family has requested that the PGR attend his services. The mission is a ‘go’ and all contacts have been made.
Mr. Steenborg served in the Army where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel with 24 years service. His wartime service included tours in Korea and Vietnam. He earned numerous decorations including the Korean Service Medal with one Battle Star, the Army Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster and the Vietnam Service Medal with one Battle Star.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas, VFW, American Legion, Elks, NRA, and the Military Officers Association.
He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, a daughter, a sister and 6 grandchildren.
[FONT=&]Services: 10:00 am, September 5th at First Baptist Church, 3015 Moores Lane, Texarkana Texas, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Texarkana, under the direction of the Texarkana Funeral Home. Military will do honors at the cemetery.

Staging: At the church from 8:15 am to 8:30 amwith a riders meeting at 8:30. Directions to the cemetery will be given by the Ride Captain.
All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to flag line. Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission.
