The family of US Air Force Lt. Colonel Ramon E. deArrigunaga has invited the PGR to stand in honor of their veteran. Lt. Col deArrigunaga served our country in Vietnam as a Forward Air Controller. Lt Col. deArrigunaga retired after 21 years and was awarded several commendations. Lt Col. deArrigunaga’s call sign was Raven 2-1. Lt. Col. deArrigunaga was shot down over Laos and is a recipient of the Silver Star.
The Raven Forward Air Controllers, also known as The Ravens, were fighter pilots used for forward air control in covert operations in conjunction with the CIA. The Ravens provided direction for most of the air strikes against communist targets in Laos. The Ravens were airborne fighter pilots in unarmed light aircraft who flew observation missions, marked enemy targets with smoke rockets, directed air strikes onto them, and observed and reported bomb damage assessment post strike.

We will stage at the Circle K at the corner of S. Monroe St and Capital Circle South.
KSU: 0815 for a 45 minute ride to the service.
The service will be held at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 3609 Coastal Hwy, Crawfordville.
Flag Line: We will stand a flag line at 0915 hrs prior to Mass at 1000 hrs. After Mass, around 1100, we will stand a flag line at the cemetery which is located behind the church.
Let’s stand for Ramon, for such a time as this, he stood for us.
