DESCRIPTION:Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been requested to stand for U.S. Navy Veteran\, Lowell Jeffries\, 91.  Seaman First Class Jeffries served aboard the Farragut\, among other ships.  He served in the Asiatic Pacific campaign.  Much of his time was served as armed guards for the Merchant Marine vessels carrying supplies for the war effort.
