DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nLouis Napoleon Deavens\, Veteran\nUSA\, USAR\nSaint Louis\, Missouri – 09-16-19\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nIt is a most distinct honor and privilege for the Patriot Guard Riders\, at the family’s request\, to stand a flag line for United States Army Veteran Louis Napoleon Deavens\, 79\, and escort him to his final resting place at Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors. Veteran Deavens served in the US Army and Army Reserve from September 1960 to September 1966\, with 4 years of Army reserve and attained the rank of Specialist Fourth Class (SP4). Commendations received included a Marksmanship Medal.  SP4 Deavens\, a grateful nation thanks you and is indebted to you for your honorable service.  Your sacrifices have granted us the freedoms we continue to enjoy to this very day.
