ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of Major Louis Edward Hatsfelt, Jr., United States Army, to escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery and stand in his honor. Maj. Hatsfelt served in the United States Army for 10 years, 1 month and 14 days and was honorable discharged 3 May 1972. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 devices. Maj. Hatsfelt was 82 years of age when he passed from this earth,

Special Instructions:
CAUTION: NAS Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding during this mission until leaving NAS Pensacola.
Face masks are mandatory and will be in place from arriving at the staging area until completion of the mission. If you chose to pull your face mask down while riding, put it back in place when you get off your bike/vehicle. Individual hand sanitizer is encouraged. Maintain 20 feet distance from family and guest and a minimum of 6 feet between riders. There is to be no physical contact with family and guests. At the conclusion of the mission, we will return the flags to the trailer/flag vehicle and wipe them down with sanitary wipes.
