Honor Mission
Louie Guerrero Davila, Veteran
USA – Vietnam
Sierra Vista, Arizona – 09-29-21


Louie Davila was a United States Army Veteran. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1969 – 1995. While in service to his country he achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5 working as an installation Aviation Safety Officer/Pilot, UH-1 Pilot, an Aviation Material Officer, CH – 47 ABC Pilot and a C-12 Fixed Wing Pilot. Some of the medals and decorations he received were the Legion of Merit Bronze Star Medal 2nd award, Meritorious Service Medal 2nd award, Air Medal 38, Army Commendation Medal 5th award, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal 2nd award, Vietnam Service Medal 2nd award, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon 3, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Master Army Aviator Badge, and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm. Chief Warrant Officer 5s final duty station was Fort Huachuca, Arizona where he was honorably discharged in 1995.  It is our honor to stand in silent reverence as we show respect and gratitude for the sacrifices this Hero made for our nation.

Special Instructions:

Immediately following the Circle of Honor/ Briefing we will stand a flag line outside the church while our Hero is placed in the coach for honorable transfer and then we will escort our Hero and his family to the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery for 12:00 Military Honors.

**** If You Can Make it to the Earlier Mission With 10:00 Military Honors That Will be Finished by 10:30. We Will Have Plenty of Time to Make it to the Church by 11:00 for This Mission..****
Following CDC/Government guidelines/mandates and directives from our State Captain and Cemetery Director, the following precautions are to be followed: All members are required to carry a face mask/cloth covering at all times during the mission. If cemetery staff, clergy or family request us to wear them we will comply. If you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay home until you improve. Maintain a minimum of six-foot distance from other members when standing the flag line. Maintain at least 6 feet separation from all family members, cemetery personnel, Honor Guard, funeral home staff, clergy, etc. Please ensure your cell phones are silenced and your music from your bike is off. Remember to hydrate the day before as well as the day of the mission.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
