ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Lonnie Nolan Shields has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to honor his memory and service to our country by standing a flag line at his funeral service.There will be a visitation prior to the Funeral service.
Lonnie Shields enlisted in the United States Army on April 21, 1943 and served in the South Pacific, Australia, New Guinea, the Admiralty and Philippine Islands and Japan. He had several Decorations and Citations through his tenure with the Army and was honorably discharged on October 19, 1945.

Stage 1:00 pm Briefing Time:1:10 pm In Position/KSU Time:1:20 pm Starting Time: 2:00 pm  After the Mission Brief, the Riders will establish the Flag Line and await the arrival of Mr. Shields’ family and friends. When directed, the Flags will be furled and returned to the support vehicle. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed from this part of the mission

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
