Honor Mission
Lonnie Kinderman, Sr., KIA

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the Family of ADCS Lonnie Kinderman, United States Navy to stand in his Honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Senior Chief Kinderman served in the United States Navy from Feb 60 to Apr 89 in Aviation Maintenance and received the following awards: Navy Achievement Award, Navy Unit Commendation(2), Meritorious Unit Commendation(3), Battle E(5), Good Conduct Medal(5), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Exp Medal, Vietnam Svc Medal(4), Humanitarian Svc Medal, Sea Svc Deployment Ribbon(2), Overseas Svc Ribbon(2), Vietnam Meritorious Unit Commendation, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert .38 and .45 Pistol Ribbons and was a qualified Aircrewman in both Helo Rescue and Vertical Replenishment.

12:30 pm – Safety brief for all riders (mandatory for mission participation)
12:45 pm – KSU to Harper Morris Funeral Home, 2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola
1:30 pm – Roll time to Barrancas National Cemetery
2:00 pm – Honors at Site “A”

Special Instructions:

Naval Station Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the base.

Covis19 precautions will be observed per PGR State guidelines, including the mandatory donning of face masks (covering both mouth & nose) during the mission.  Social distancing of 6 feet, 20 feet from the family with no physical contact between family or guests and the use of hand sanitizer.  Upon mission conclusion, flags to be returned to the trailer/vehicle and sanitized for stowage.

Water will be provided.
