The family of Lloyd Warren Thompson, 64, requests the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a tall and silent flag line honoring their hero’s military service and his service as a First Responder. Lloyd served in the United States Air Force 1971-1972. He then served in the Air National Guard 131st for another 21 years.
This hero retired from the Ferguson Fire Department after 26 years of service. His many medals and commendations include: Air Force Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Meritorious Service Medal with 4 Devices, Small Arms Expert Ribbon with 1 Device, Humanitarian Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal with 1 Device,, Air Force Longevity Service Award with 4 devices.
He is survived by his wife, Alma, and two stepsons.
