ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of SHCM Lloyd N. Mitchell, United States Navy, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Master Chief Mitchell honorably served in the United States Navy from Apr 1953 until May 1983. Master Chief Mitchell received the following awards: Meritorious Unit Citation, Battle ‘E’, Navy Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Award (8), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. We will meet the family at Little Flower Catholic Church, 6495 Lillian Hwy, Pensacola at 12:00 PM. Honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1:00 PM, Site “A”.

Special Instructions:
Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the base.
