World War II – Active Duty 9 September 1943 thru (post war) 14 October 1949, joined USNR 15 October 1949; USS Lexington, CV 16, USS Bushnell, AS 15, USS Nereus, AS 17. WWII Victory Medal, American Theatre, Asiatic Pacific, Philippine Liberation, Good Conduct. Korean War – Active Duty October 1950 thru January 1952; NRS Dallas, Texas, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington, L.S.S. Essex (CV 9), Recsta, Seattle, Washington. Total net service 10 years 01 month 06 days.

Riders that wish to process with the family in bringing Mr. King from the funeral home to the cemetery will meet at the funeral home to be briefed about our hero and an overview of the mission. Riders will be staged for the less than three mile procession to the cemetery following a safety briefing. There will be no service at the funeral home.
Procession: Partial escort possible
Support: No – Bring your own water. Please hydrate the night before, there will be water at part two.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Those riders not participating in part one will stage at the cemetery pavilion, be briefed and establish a flag line and await the arrival of the procession. Some family and guests not processing with Mr. King will be arriving sporadically ahead of the service.
Riders in the procession will quickly dismount and join the flag line. Riders will stand tall and silent until the completion of the service, after which flags will be returned to the support vehicle. The PGR participation will conclude after the service at the pavilion. We will not go to the gravesite.
Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
