ABOUT THE MISSION:
SSG Lewis E Savage served honorably in the United States Army for 20 years, 2 months, and 4 days. He was honorably retired on 30 November 1974. His numerous awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (4th award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea), Vietnam Service Medal w/3 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 device, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm Device. SSG Savage was born 31 August 1935 and was 85 years of age when he passed from this earth.The Patriot Guard will escort SSG Savage from the Emanual Baptist Church to Barrancas National Cemetery and stand a silent flag line in his honor.

Special Instructions:
NAS Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding on NAS Pensacola.
Face masks are mandatory and will be in place from arrival at staging area until completion of the mission. If you choose to remove your mask while riding, put it back in place when you get off your bike/out of vehicle. Individual hand sanitizer is encouraged. Maintain 20 ft distance from family and 6 ft minimum between riders. No physical contact between family or guests.

10:30 AM – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
11:00 AM – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery Shelter “A”
