The family and friends of Capt Lester D. Arnold, US Army Air Corps/USAF Reserve Veteran requests the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero on Friday, May 6, 2016 at his committal.
While serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II from 1942 to 1945, Capt Arnold flew 47 missions and 2 suicide missions.
He then served from 1945 to 1958 as the US Army Air Corps transitioned to the US Air Force.
He will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
Capt Arnold served this country well and faithfully as a member of the Greatest Generation. It is now our turn to render honors and provide a heartfelt thanks for his service and sacrifice to our country.
STAGING
Staging will take place at the Lannie Road Baptist Church, 5998 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 and proceed to Lane 1 at JNC.
