ABOUT THE MISSION:
Lester C. Haack, Combined Locks, age 95, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 2, 2021. He was born in Rio Creek, Wisconsin on March 18, 1926 to the late William and Elsie Haack. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a 50 year member of the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60, and served as a member of their Color Guard for 25 years. Lester married Joyce Horkman in Green Bay on October 25, 1947. She preceded him in death on June 1, 2015 after 67 years of marriage.
