ABOUT THE MISSION:

Masters Funeral Home requests the Patriot Guard to transfer the remains of United States Army Special Third Class (SP3) Leon Ernest Simms from the Masters Funeral Home in Palatka, FL to his final resting place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville. He served in the Army for 7 years as a supply specialist with the 550th AAA BN, Battery A, during his service he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.  Specialist Simms is a veteran without a family who served his country honorably and now it is our turn to honor him and become his family during his interment.

COVID-19 precaution will be observed per PGR State guidelines, including the MANDATORY donning of face masks (covering both mouth and nose) during the mission. Social distancing of 6 feet, 20 feet from the family and no physical contact between family or guests and the use of hand sanitizer.
