ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of PFC Dlugolecki has graciously invited the Patriot Guard Riders to escort their loved one from Punta Gorda to Sarasota National Cemetery, where their loved one will be laid to rest. PFC Dlugolecki served in the US Army as a BAR Infantryman who was involved with the assault on Omaha Beach. PFC Dlugolecki served three years in the US Army, and upon completion of service, he received an honorable discharge. His Awards and Medals are the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and Two Purple Hearts.
Please bring your 3×5 American Flags and stand in silent respect for PFC Dlugolecki, one of The Greatest Generation.
If you are doing the escort, Flag Bikes are encouraged.
