Lemar Lee May, Veteran
Jacksonville, Florida – 02-18-20

HT1 Lemar Lee May (70) served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1970 to 1978. After departing the Navy, he attended Florida Community College where he obtained an Associates degree in Fire Science and Prevention. From there, he went to work for the Naval Air Station Jacksonville fire department where he remained until his retirement after 35 years of federal service. Following his federal service retirement, he went to work for Grumman, Smalley’s and did contracting work on the side. During his military service, he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon and Meritorious Unit Ribbon. Come join us on the flag line as we honor this veteran and first responder.
