He achieved the rank of Corporal and served with honor until his discharge on January 21\, 1954. After the service begins\, flags will be returned to the flag support vehicle which will depart for the cemetery to set flags along with riders who will not be riding in the procession. Procession riders will then receive a safety briefing and stage for the procession to the cemetery.
