ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Lee Otis Ballard has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for him as he once stood for us. We are honored to do so. SSG (Ret) Lee Otis Ballard served on active duty for over twenty three years in the United States Army, retiring in 1998. He was also a Vietnam Veteran.

Special Instructions:

We will be staging at the Speedy Mart right outside of the Pointes West Army Resort. At 2:00 pm we will proceed as a group to the mission location on the Pointes West Army Resort. Upon arriving at the mission location we will conduct a briefing, then stand a flag line outside the Pointes West Conference Center as family and guests arrive for the 3:00 pm service. Prior to the service starting we will move inside the conference center and participate in the memorial service. Being that the Pointes West Army Resort is part of Fort Gordon be prepared to meet the requirements for riding on a military installation. You need to have a current drivers license, registration, proof of insurance, long sleeves, eye protection, full finger gloves, over the ankle footwear, and reflective vest. Also, no weapons are allowed on a military installation.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
