ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of SK2 Lee Orval Chapman, 71, U.S. Navy (12/67-12/71), Vietnam Era, of Dunlap, TN has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Honor their loved one with a silent flag line and escort to his memorial service. It will be our honor to do so. Mr.Chapman served his country as a Store Keeper aboard the USS Little Rock, a light cruiser that was the flagship of the sixth fleet (1969-1970) and operated throughout the Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea. Mr. Chapman also proudly served as the Commander and Chaplain of the Harvey-Merriman American Legion Post #190 in Dunlap, TN where he was instrumental in turning that post into a thriving, service oriented organization. Mr. Chapman stood for us and now it is our time to stand for him.
