The family of US Army Veteran Leander “Lee” Oertli has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand with Honor, Dignity and Respect during his funeral on June 30th in Adrian, MN. Lee proudly served his country from 1951-53 and was stationed in Germany and achieved the rank of Corporal. He passed away on 6-25-16 at the age of 88 years. He was a resident of the Veteran’s Home in Luverne and enjoyed the Patriot Guard Rider visits as we hosted Bingo at the home.

We will stage at the Adrian Funeral Home, 109 Maine Avenue, at 9:15 am. The Adrian Funeral Home is located south of I-90, exit 26 on MN Hwy 91 (Maine Avenue) on the west side of the street after crossing the railroad tracks. Additional details will be given out during staging. Expected dismissal will be approximately 12:00 pm.

The weather forecast for Adrian on June 30th is for a high of 77 with a 30% chance of thunderstorms. Please bring whatever you need to be self-sufficient (including water) during this mission, your 3’x5’ US flag and pole and ride or drive safely as we gather to honor US Army Veteran Leander “Lee” Oertli.
