DESCRIPTION:We have been requested to support and honor LCDR Donald Emil Herrmann USN (Ret).  The Patriot Guard Riders will be honored to do so.\n\nThe wife of LCDR Donald Emil Herrmann USN (Ret) has asked the PGR to stand a flag line to honor her husband at the interment in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. \nHe served his country from 1934 to 1959 from the landing ships at Normandy in WWII to the transportation of refugees from Vietnam. \nAnother member of the greatest generation is laid to rest.   He is survived by his wife and two daughters. \nNOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
