Lawrence “Scoop” Wagstaff was sent to Germany in General Patton’s 3rd Army\, 5th Division. He was taken prisoner of war while crossing the Rhine River in Worms\, Germany. Lawrence was liberated by the Americans at Maren\, Germany.\n\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 08-10-19 \nStaging Time: 11:30  \nWalgreens\n3291 Highland Dr\nSalt Lake City\, Utah\n\n\nRide Captain: \nScott Anderson\n801-699-3034\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \nKSU: 12:00 PMWeather: Sunny with a 10% chance of showers and a high of 93. Please dress accordingly and keep yourself hydrated.\n\nThis will be a veteran’s format. The service will be at the LDS church on 3179 S Highland Dr in Salt Lake City at 11:30 AM on Saturday\, August 10\, 2019.
