ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand a flag line for Lawrence “Scoop” Wagstaff.
Lawrence “Scoop” Wagstaff served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Lawrence “Scoop” Wagstaff was sent to Germany in General Patton’s 3rd Army, 5th Division. He was taken prisoner of war while crossing the Rhine River in Worms, Germany. Lawrence was liberated by the Americans at Maren, Germany.

This will be a veteran’s format. The service will be at the LDS church on 3179 S Highland Dr in Salt Lake City at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2019. We will stand a flag line at the church and then escort Lawrence “Scoop” Wagstaff to his final resting place in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary on 3401 S Highland Dr in Salt Lake City, where we will stand another flag line.
