Hero Tribout served his country with honor in the United States Army during WWII (1944 – 1946) as an automotive mechanic. He achieving the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon w/ 1 Bronze Battle Star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon w/1 Bronze Battle Star, Victory Medal, 3 Overseas Service Bars and the Good Conduct Medal.
