ABOUT THE MISSION:
TSgt Lawrence Lee “Larry” Lauer honorably served in the United States Air Force for 17.5 years, with service during Operation Desert Storm/Shield. Awards and ribbons awarded include Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal w/OLC, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/4 OLC, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon w/2 OLC, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon, Air Force Training Ribbon

We will stage at the church, where we will assist the support person in the placement of the flags, if needed. After the mission brief has been given, we will stand in the flag line to welcome the family and guests of Mr. Lauer prior to the visitation. Once the mass begins, we will retrieve the flags and return them to the support vehicle, where they will be furled and stowed. All riders will be dismissed to proceed on to the interment portion of the mission.

We will stage at the Visitor’s Center, where the mission brief will be given. The flag bikes will be selected and relocated to the designate staging lane. The remaining riders will proceed on to the assigned shelter to set the flags and prepare for the arrival of the procession bringing Mr. Lauer, his family and friends. At the conclusion of the committal service, and at the direction of the ride captain, the flags will be retrieved and returned to the shelter storage area, where they will be furled and stowed. After the post mission brief, all riders will be dismissed.
