Fellow Riders,
It is with heavy heart that I must inform you that Alabama and America has lost another true American hero. The family of SP4 Lawrence K. Fennell, Jr. has requested the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of him. Mr. Fennell, Jr. passed away at the age of 74.
Mr. Fennell, Jr. served in Vietnam with U.S. Army 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Purple Heart W/ 1 Oak Leaf, Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge. It is our honor to stand for this true American Hero.
This is a flag line only service at the Committal Shelter at 1330 hrs.
Mrs. Linda Fennell has requested we escort her and several family members from staging area to cemetery. We may expect 5 – 6 vehicles. There will be no LEO.
His ashes will be placed in ground at the cemetery.
