ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of Sgt. Lawrence E. Spettel, United States Marine Corps, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Sgt. Spettel served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, from April 1953 to April 1957. He earned the following awards during his service: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Honors will be at Barrancas National Cemetery, at 2:00 PM. LEO escort will be provided.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the base.
12:45 PM – Briefing for all riders
1:00 PM   – KSU to Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Ct.,  Pensacola, Fl.
1:30 PM  –  Roll Time to Barrancas National Cemetery, Site A
2:00 PM –  Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery, Site A
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
