The family of Lawrence Bohlen has asked the PGR to stand a flag line in honor of his service and we will proudly do that.
Lawrence enlisted in the US Army on 20 August, 1945 and served until 24 June, 1947. He served as a Company Clerk and Bugler.
After leaving the service he started a construction company, Bowlen Brothers, with his brother in Rudd, Iowa, then moved to Coolidge, AZ in 1982 and started a general construction company.
He was a member of the American Legion, Masons, Rotary Club, Kiwanis and very active in his church.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, daughter and grandson.
