AFTER ACTION REPORT: Lauren Jackson Hankins, Sr., US Army Veteran, Sapulpa, OK

Tuesday, 16 June 2020 was a very pleasant morning with a slight Southerly breeze. The PGR staged and briefed to posted flags across the front of the church and along the parking lot. After the briefing, which was closed with a prayer, the front doors were manned and a Flag Line was formed across the front of the church welcoming family and friends. When the service started all the flags were retrieved and prepared to be posted at the cemetery. At the conclusion of the service a Respect Line was formed as Mr. Hankins was moved from the church to the coach. The accompaniment from the church to the cemetery was completed successfully and arrived to gently blowing flags around the interment site. The PGR formed a Respect Line as Mr. Hankins was moved from the coach to his final resting place. The Pastor presented a short message and turned the service over to the PGR for Military Honors. The PGR played Taps, folded and presented the flag, read and presented the PGR plaque and Invocation Letter. A Final Salute that was participated by all in attendance was given to Honor this Hero. After an appropriate amount of time the flags were retrieved and prepared for the next mission.

Thank you, to the Hankins family for inviting the PGR to be a part of this service to Honor this Hero. Thank you to the PGR riders that took time out of their day to “Stand and Honor” this Hero.

“Rest in Peace” Lauren Jackson Hankins, Sr., US Army Veteran, your mission is complete, you are gone, but your service to this Great Nation will never be forgotten.

    Respectfully submitted:
    Mike “Penni” Pennington
