ABOUT THE MISSION:

Petty Officer First Class Larry Travis Bass served our country with honor and retired after 20 years in the United States Navy. PO1 Bass served during the Persian Gulf War aboard the USS Roosevelt as aviation ordinance and his awards include National Defense Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy and Marine Achievement Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Armed Forces Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and Joint Meritorious Unit Award. After his military service, Mr. Bass worked as a rural route mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.
