ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of USN, Boiler Technician Fireman (BTFN), Larry Rex Ray has honored the Patriot Guard Riders with a request to provide an escort from the Greenlawn East Funeral Home to the Hazelwood Cemetery and stand a flag line at his committal service where full military honors will be rendered. Hero Ray attended Oak Grove Schools then enlisted in the United States Navy in August 1954 and proudly and honorably served our country in active duty as a Boiler Technician Fireman assigned to the USS Renville until December 1957. His active duty included nearly 3 years of foreign service. He then was moved to Naval Reserve status until August 1962. Following his naval service he became an accomplished auto mechanic and later had his own business as Rex Ray Service Centers. He also enjoyed buying and selling antiques, managing several rental properties, and even did some brush hogging and snow removal.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Loved One . I pray God will comfort ,strengthen and bless you all as you go through this difficult time .
I am thankful for Mr. Ray’s service and sacrifice to our country in the US Navy . He is ” Fallen Never Forgotten ” .
