ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been graciously invited by the family and friends of BM3 Larry Ford to stand in honor of his service to our Country . BM3 Ford served his country honorably from 1964 -1968 in the Navy and served aboard the troop transport ship USS CHILTON APA-38. Mr. Ford was an active member of American Legion Post 25 for several years. After his Naval service Mr. Ford worked for Newport News Shipyard from the early 1970’s to early 2000 as a power plant operator and eventually became the departments supervisor. He is survived by his devoted wife and 6 loving children.

 This will be a flag line with honors at both the funeral home and at his final resting place. Expect this mission to last 4 hours.
  All hands are invited to join the family for Mr. Ford for his celebration of life at American Legion Post 25 for food and refreshments.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
