Mission Complete: 30 June 2020 – MSG Larry Keith Gowder Sr., USA / ARNG (Ret), Shawnee, OK.

On Tuesday, 30 June 2020, there were 13 riders on 13 bikes with one cage who attended the mission to Honor the Military Service of Larry Keith Gowder Sr., USA / ARNG (Ret) at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

With flags staked around the committal shelter, the briefing was held, followed by a moment of silence for the Blue, Silver, and Gold Star families, POWs and MIAs. A prayer asking for comfort for the grieving family, a safe mission, and protection for our military personnel stationed around the world was also said.

PGR members stood with the flags around the committal shelter during the service to honor MSG Larry Gowder, standing at attention and saluting as Taps was played and during the Flag presentation by the National Guard Honor Detail.

PGR Members read and presented the Plaque and the Invocation to the Hero’s wife and thanked the family for allowing the PGR to attend and Honor the Military Service of their loved one.

Thank you to all my fellow PGR riders and the ARNG Honor Detail for attending this mission to Honor one of America’s Great Heroes, your presence made a difference to this family.

Most of all thank you Larry Keith Gowder for your service to this great Nation and to your neighbors. Rest in Peace Sir, your watch is over, and you will never be forgotten.

The Privilege to attend this Mission is our Greatest Honor.
