Honor Mission
Larry Gene Britton, Retired
Pensacola, Florida – 03-20-19

The family of MS1 Larry Britton, United States Navy (Retired), has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to escort him to his final resting place and stand a silent flag line in his honor.
MS1 Britton honorably served in the United States Navy for over 23 years, and was transferred to the Fleet Reserve on 1 Nov. 1991. While on active duty, MS1 Britton earned the Good Conduct Medal (4 awards) National Defense Service Medal, and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. The Patriot Guard Riders will meet MS1 Britton at NAS Pensacola and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts or jacket, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather foot wear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection while riding on board the base.
12:45 pm –  Safety briefing for all riders
1:00 pm –   KSU to NAS Pensacola Main Gate
1:15 pm –    Arrival NAS Pensacola Main Gate
1:30 pm –   KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
2:00 pm –  Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
