During his time in service\, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal\, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Star\, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal\, Air Force Good Conduct Medal\, Armed Forces Expeditionary Military Ribbon\, and a Bronze Star Medal.
