YNCS Kenneth Thomas Flowers (E-8) honorably served in the United States Navy for 30 years and some of the awards he received were the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, COMSIXTHFLT Letter of Commendation, Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (3d award) for period ending 28Apr79, National Defense Medal (2 awards), Navy Unit Commendation, Navy Achievement Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation with Gallantry Cross, and a Purple Heart. He was 86 years of age when he departed this earth on 13 January, 2020. We will escort YNCS Flowers from Olive Baptist – Warrington Campus, 103 W Winthrop Ave, Pensacola, to Barrancas National Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered at 01:30 PM.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the NAS.

12:30 PM – KSU to Olive Baptist Church – New Warrington Campus
12:45 PM – Arrive at Olive Baptist Church – New Warrington Campus
01:15 PM – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
01:30 PM – Honors
