ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been given the honor of standing a flag line during the services of Chief Petty Officer Kenneth Norman Bush and escort him to his final resting place. Hero Bush served his country proudly for 22 years 10 months beginning in 1945.  He earned the Fourth Good Conduct Award for service ending January 5, 1967, National Defense Service Medal (second award), Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal.
          After being discharged from the Navy, he went to work for the Federal Police Force.
          Hero Bush was also a member of The American Legion Tirey J. Ford Post 21 in Independence Mo.
