ABOUT THE MISSION:

Missing in America Project (MIAP) has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to escort the cremains of a previously unclaimed Veteran from the Myrtle Beach, SC area to his final resting place at Florence National Cemetery. The honorably discharged Veteran is US Navy BT2 Kenneth Lynn Ballard. He served 1970-1974.This Veteran honorably and faithfully served his Country when called upon to do so and deserves to be buried with the honor and dignity he has earned. The PGR has been asked to stand for this veteran, to see that he is given the final honors that he deserves. The Patriot Guard Riders are honored to be a part of this mission. This is a rain or shine mission.

Special Instructions:

Briefing at 12:30 PM with departure at 12:45 PM. After the briefing, we will escort the MIAP transport vehicle to Florence National Cemetery. We will have LEO assistance from the Aynor Police Department. Upon arrival at Florence National Cemetery, riders will safely park as directed by FNC staff and join the flag line that is already in place.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Special Instructions:

Briefing at 1:35 PM. The ceremony is scheduled for 2:00 PM. After the briefing, we will establish a flag line and hold it until the ceremony is completed. Riders who were on the escort will join the flag line upon arrival. The Florence National Cemetery Honor Guard will provide full Military Honors
