ABOUT THE MISSION:

Master Sergeant Kenneth Leroy Caldwell was a United States Air Force Veteran. Master Sergeant Kenneth Leroy Caldwell served in the United States Air Force from 1962 until his retirement in 1982 and served in Vietnam. Master Sergeant Caldwell served as an Illustrator, Master Instructor and also as a Load Master on C-130 Aircraft. He was also a Computer Analyst. He was awarded the following decorations.Vietnam Service medal with 1 bronze service star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with palm, AF Outstanding Unit Award with 5 oak leaf clusters, AF Good Conduct Medal with 5 oak leaf clusters, AF Organizational Excellence Award, Humanitarian Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with 1 oak leaf cluster, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon with 1 oak leaf cluster, AF Longevity Service Ribbon with 4 oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal, AF Achievement Medal, AF Commendation Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters.
