[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Mr. Kenneth Hagg, 94, former Army Sergeant during WWII with service at Normandy was a hero who served his country honorably and faithfully during a period of War. Today, the PGR received a call from his long-time caretaker and friend who asked if we could be at his final service because he had no family left on this earth and very few friends due to his age and she is afraid that no one will be there for him at his last formation. Can we be there for him, like he was for the American people several generations ago? Please join me as we stand and show those in attendance that his service, so long ago, mattered and is not forgotten.
This American hero served across Europe, including Normandy France and the Rhineland of Germany. He received many decorations and service medals for his service, inlcuding the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, and the European-Africa-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. After his service in WWII he entered into the Navy Inactive Reserve. He will join his wife, a former WAC, in eternal rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Let’s stand for him and her on Friday.
