SGT Comer was very active in both the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Riders\, instrumental in raising funds for the Killed in Action monuments located in Dayton\, NV\, and Northern Nevada Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery\, Fernley\, NV and the Vietnam Veterans Monument located in the Veterans’ Cemetery\, Fernley\, NV.
