Keith W. Furgason Comment

  1. Mission Complete: 24 September 2019 – TEC4 Keith W. Furgason, USA WWII / Korean War Veteran, Shawnee, Oklahoma.

The American and Army Service Flags were staked at the Funeral Home and were flying proudly in the wind as 4 PGR Riders on 3 bikes and 1 cage manned the doors as family and friends arrived for TEC4 Furgason’s service.

The briefing was given, and prayers said for Gold, Silver, and Blue Star families and all in attendance at the service.

When the service started, riders recovered the posted flags and stakes and replaced them in the flag vehicle.

At the conclusion of the service, PGR riders stood a Respect Line as the Hero was moved from the chapel to the coach, and accompanied the coach, family and friends to the pavilion in the adjacent cemetery where a second Respect Line was formed as the Hero was moved from the coach to the bier.

The Minister gave a short graveside service, the Military Honors Group rendered Military Honors and presented the flag to Mrs. Furgason, and PGR members read and presented the Plaque and Invocation to her, ending the graveside ceremonies.

I wish to thank the riders for attending the services and I know that the family greatly appreciated the PGR being there.

    RCIC: Jimmy (airride) Gaines
You may be gone but you will never be forgotten, rest in peace, my brother.
