ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders are honored to accept the invitation of the family of Kedmin Velez to stand for him as he is laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery. Kedmin Velez served his country in the U.S. Navy as an Engine Mechanic aboard the USS OXFORD (AGTR1). The USS OXFORD was an Intelligence Gathering vessel that patrolled along the coast of Vietnam. EN2 Velez served from February 1965 until April 1969. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, 3 daughters, and 2 grandchildren.

This is a flag line only. Stage at the flag pole. After a short briefing we will move to the assigned shelter. Face covering is required while at the shelter. Service is scheduled for 3 pm. Doc Griffin will be our flag wagon. There is a second mission at this same time for Navy Veteran in Marietta. Please plan to attend one or the other if at all possible.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
