ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of United States Navy veteran Mr. Karl A. Haun has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to escort Petty Officer Haun from Poole Funeral Home to his final resting place at Georgia National Cemetery. At GNC, We will stand and honor their hero and family member.

Special Instructions:

We will stage at Poole Funeral Home. (Parking lot). After a short meeting, we will set-up for an escort to GNC. Departure time (KSU) at 10 a.m. We will stand a silent flag-line at GNC during the interment. Service at GNC is scheduled for 11 a.m. We will have LEO escort. USN Funeral Honors Detail will provide Full Military Honors. Weather Advisory: 90% chance of Rain.
Coronavirus precaution disclosure:
Please bring a mask and wash hands often, be prepared to follow the guidelines from state and local officials as well as facility or cemetery guidelines to be outlined at the mission briefing. A general record of attendees will be held by the ride captain for a period not to exceed 2 weeks in the case of the need for contact tracing. If you test positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of attending a mission please contact Ride Captain with that information, your name will not be disclosed.
Those who are sick, have a household member or other close contact who is sick should not attend and those who have a higher risk of severe illness should weigh the benefits of in-person attendance against the risk of exposure to a person with COVID-19, especially if recommendations for wearing masks and social distancing may be difficult to follow for themselves or others.

For those who want to meet at GNC and not be part of the escort. Stage at PIC meeting (Parking Lot) and after a short briefing will move to the assigned shelter when appropriate. Interment Service is scheduled at 11 a.m.
