Mission Complete: May 31 2019 SPC Kaleb T. George USA WoT Veteran
On Friday there were 26 Patriot Guard Riders on 22 bikes,1 cage and 1cage carrying the bike that belonged to our hero, who attended the mission to Honor the Military Service of US Army WoT Veteran SPC Kaleb T. George in Oklahoma City, OK.
Riders assembled at the Quality Inn, 6300 Terminal Dr. , Oklahoma City,OK.
The briefing was held, followed by a moment of silence for, Blue, Silver & Gold Star families, POWs and MIAs. A prayer asking comfort for the grieving family, a safe mission, and protection for our military personnel engaged in the Global War on Terror was also said by the Grandfather of our Hero.
Riders then took the short ride to the Air Cargo Facility to await the arrival of the Coach, Family and Military Honor Guard.
The PGR stood the Flag Line, holding American Flags and the Army service Flag Lining the entrance to the tarmac as the vehicle’s carrying the family, the Coach, and The Military Honor Guard for the Dignified Transfer of SPC George.
After they returned from the tarmac, PGR members returned the flags to the flag vehicle and made ready for the accompaniment to the Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home.
On arrival at the Funeral Home PGR stood a Respect Line as the Military Honor Guard transferred SPC George into the Funeral Home, as the assembled family and friends looked on.
Thank you to all of my fellow Patriot Guard Riders for attending this mission. Your presence made a difference to this family. Most of all, thank you SPC Kaleb T. George, for your service to this great nation. Rest in Peace soldier, your mission is complete, and you will not be forgotten.
Respectfully,
Senior Ride Captain Jeff “Poppa Bear” Huff
