ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by Homes For Our Troops, to escort then stand in honor for the Key Ceremony for Petty Officer Justin Hendrickson.  In 2001, Justin enlisted the U.S. Navy and became a Hospital Corpsman during Operation Iraqi Freedom deploying to Afghanistan in 2004 with 1st BN 6 Marines. In 2005, Justin deployed to Iraq to relieve one of the Marine Rifle Companies shortly after the Battle of Fallujah.   On 6 May 2005, while deployed to Iraq with the 3rd BN, 8th Marines, Justin and his unit were conducting a resupply mission in Al Anbar Province Justin and his unit went under attack then was struck by an IED.  Justin received the Purple Heart,Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V Device,Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal,Combat Action Ribbon,Navy Unit Commendation Medal,Good Conduct Medal,National Defense Service Medal,Afghanistan Campaign Medal,Iraq Campaign Medal,Global War On Terror Expeditionary Medal,Global War On Terror Service Medal,Korea Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.  Following time served, Justin wanted to continue working in the medical field.  Justin earned Bachelors of Nursing and is currently preparing to graduate with his Master’s Degree in Nursing Education and Leadership, along with teaching college courses.
Homes For Our Troops selected Justin and built a home with an open floor plan that will give Justin the freedom to access every room easily so, please join us to escort then stand for our American Hero, Justin Hendrickson and his family for the Key Ceremony to their specially custom forever home.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no time for a member to stand a mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.  Deer are on the move, please be aware & alert of your surroundings.  Also before heading out, please watch the weather; dress accordingly and hydrate.
