Julius P. Oliver Jr, 80

The family of Julius P. Oliver, Jr. has requested the South Carolina Patriot Guard Riders to be present at his last formation.

Mr. Oliver was a member of the United State Air Force (1954-1958); he served in Korean War and was a Disabled Veteran. After his military service he worked as a mechanic and electrician for the Post and Courier and Alumax and retiring in 1998. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an active member in the American legion Post 179 in the Charleston area. This post will perform the military ceremony for Mr. Oliver, Jr. to show their respect, as he was an outstanding member.

Assemble: 10:30am – 11:00am

Briefing: 11:15am

Execution: After the briefing, we will form a flag line up until the start of service in the Chapel (12:00 pm).

There will be full military honors at the chapel.

We will render honors at that time and also when the family is departing with Mr. Oliver’s remains for the cemetery.
