ABOUT THE MISSION:

Julius (Junior) P Sturdivant, 97, passed away Feb 28, 2019.  He proudly served our country in the United States Army.  TEC 5 Sturdivant served from January 8th, 1943 to December 18th, 1946.  During his service TEC 5 Sturdivant earned Two Overseas Service Bars, American Campaign Medal Asiatic, Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 1 Bronze Battle Star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, and World War II Victory Medal.
His Family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor TEC 5 Sturdivant and the service he rendered to this great nation and the Patriot Guard Riders will be honored to stand for TEC 5 Sturdivant.

Patriot Guard Riders will provide an honor flag line for visitation from 10:00 am until the beginning of services at 12:00 pm.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Special Instructions:

There will be a safety brief prior to the escort with KSU at 8:45 am.
Patriot Guard will escort TEC5 Sturdivant from MJ Edwards Funeral Home to the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery and provide a silent flag line during the service at the Rotunda.
Anyone staging at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery should stage at 9:15 am for a 9:30 am service.
